Washington Huskies Information
The Huskies are the name for the University of Washington's 23 varsity athletic teams that compete in the NCAA Division 1 Pac-10 Conference. The program is made up of 11 men's sports (baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, rowing, swimming, soccer, tennis, track) and 12 women's sports (basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, rowing, swimming, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball).
Primary playing field for the Huskies include Bank of America Arena, Husky Ballpark and Husky Stadium. Men's football has won a total of 15 bowl games and four national championships over the years since starting up in 1907. Men's outdoor track and field has the most championships under their belt for the school with 20.
