Virginia Cavaliers Information
The Cavaliers are the name of the athletic program for the University of Virginia, who competes in the NCAA Division 1 Atlantic Coast Conference. They field 25 varsity sports and have collectively won 14 team NCAA National championships.
Their featured menâ€™s sports are Lacrosse and Soccer. The soccer team has won the most national titles for the school at 5. The Lacrosse team has four championships; their last earned in 2006. The womenâ€™s lacrosse program has also been successful through the years, winning national championships in 1991, 1993, and 2004.
