Baseball, football and wrestling are the schools most popular sports out of their 23 competing teams. Minnesota's playing fields include TCF Bank Stadium, Williams Arena, Siebert Field, and Mariucci Arena. Since their men’s hockey program won the colleges first championship in 1929, Golden Gophers athletics have earned a collective total of 26 National titles. The football team has won six despite their last occurring in 1960. The wrestling team has won three total championships in 2001, 2002, and 2007.
