Carolina Panthers Information

The Carolina Panthers are members of the South Division of the NFC. They entered the NFL along with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995. The Panthers play their home games in Charlotte, NC at the Bank of America Stadium. In their short NFL history, the Panthers have had some success. They have had four playoff appearances, three division championships and one conference championship. They appeared in Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston for the first and only time in 2003.

The 2011 season for the Panthers was the seventeenth for the franchise. The team clinched the NFL's worst record of the year at 6-10. They missed the playoffs for the third year in a row and placed third in the NFC South. Hopefully this year they can improve and make the playoffs. Their most valuable players this season are tackle Jordan Gross, wide receiver Steve Smith, cornerback Chris Gamble, running back DeAngelo Williams, defensive end Charles Johnson and tight end Greg Olsen.
